Mardi Gras Pancake Supper and Game Night

March 8, 5:30-8

Pancakes and maple surple, those fabulous sausages, fruit salad, juices, coffee…a church family event…compete with Mardi Gras beads for everyone!

Forty-three members and friends brought their appetites!  Wish we KNEW how many of those tasty sausages were consumed…pounds and pounds, all expertly cooked to perfection by Alan Trask, whose friend Lynn and nephews ruled the pancake griddles!  I’m just sayin’–come back any time!  Some very strange new games were introduced…and a few old ones.  Funny, though.  As 8 pm approached, the last table standing was surrounded by adults taking no notice that everyone else had gone home.  Their game of choice was–GREED.  And since I was one of those at the table in the end, I can’t even tell you who all the wonderful people were who washed dishes and cleaned up the kitchen.  Sorry.   The whole event was brought to you by those lovable Deacons.
