We’ve been waiting for this a long time…a return engagement with fabulous finger-picker, song-writer and good neighbor Jim Gallant.

Saturday, April 2, 7:30 pm                       $10 adults; $5 seniors and children

The Coffee and Tea are hot and free.  Munchies by donation.  Baked goods auction during the break; come for music, go home with a blueberry pie!

As a member of the Seacoast Guitar Society Jim was a featured artist in their first fingerstyle  compilation CD.  “Gallant ranks among some of the finest tunesmiths in the Northeast, ” wrote columnist Ron Hart.  20th Century Guitar Magazine‘s Ron Silverstein commented, “A gifted acoustic guitarist, Jim Gallant is a world class player”

He recently finished up his latest CD “Old Hat with a New Coat”, a collection of down of down home feeling Americana songs which will keep you dancing and smiling at the same time.  And Jim’s song, “The Don,” about the 1941 maritime tragedy which claimed the lives of 28 people from Mexico and Rumford, is being used in an upcoming MPBN documentary about the incident.

Jim will appear here with his brother Tim on bass, Mark Burns on vocals and Sid Stutzman mandolin & guitar.  Together they’re known as  “Jim Gallant and the Proper  Perspectives.”             Read more.
