Neighbors in Need is both a local fact everywhere and the annual UCC church-wide offering to do something about it.
Two-thirds of the offerings collected nation-wide are used to fund local service projects and justice and advocacy efforts–most of them initiated by churches like ours who apply for grants from the UCC’s division, Justice and Witness Ministries. One-third of NIN funds support the work of the Council for American Indian Ministries, including many churches and programs in communities on reservations across the country.
Neighbors in Need was our October Special Offering for Mission, and you responded with characteristic generosity. $393 was contributed!!! Thank you so much.
