The First Congregational Church of New Gloucester seeks to build a stronger faith-based movement for peace, justice, equality, and inclusivity through local and global outreach and community building.
Our primary works are the New Gloucester Food Pantry and our Fuel Assistance program. When we charge admission, all proceeds go to fund these programs, once the event’s expenses have been paid.
We offer opportunities for the community to be together, including:
- Community barn dances
- Game and movie nights
- Halloween Warming House
- Tiny Timber potluck
- Village Coffeehouse concerts featuring Maine musicians
See our calendar for upcoming events. Go to the Happenings page for the complete list of church events.
Our sanctuary and rectory may also be rented for non-church events, depending on availability, such as the New Gloucester Historic Society’s annual Strawberry Festival in June.
