Below are some suggestions to spark your imagination.
Helping with worship might mean:
- Watching the littles during the service
- Playing in the handbell choir
- Reading the verse during worship
- Making coffee
- Cutting bread for Communion
- Bringing treats for fellowship
Helping with the church missions and events includes:
- Putting up posters for the Village Coffeehouse and other fundraising events
- Answering questions at the church’s booth at the annual New Gloucester Fair
- Picking up food at the Gray Hannaford for the Food Pantry
- Decorating the church for Halloween
- Helping organize a potluck after the annual treelighting at the start of the Christmas season.
Volunteers:
- Serve on church committees, such as Outreach and Missions or Christian Education.
- Maintain the church’s buildings, including our recent roof renovation
- Serve as chairs of the various committees, and on the Board of Trustees and as officers on the Board of Directors (must be a member).
